Attention SAE Aero Design students, SAE University Programs are excited to announce a new opportunity for teams to enhance learning and receive workforce development experiences. The SAE Aero Engagement Lab will take place March 8-9th immediately following the Aero Design East event at the Florida Air Museum in Lakeland, Florida. You do not need to be registered for the Aero East event to participate. Teams registered for the Texas event can also attend this event!
Sign up for the event will open next week, on January 15th. The sign up process for this event will run in an abbreviated lottery format, similar to what teams experienced with registering for the traditional 2026 SAE Aero Design events.

Maximum Teams: 30 + waitlist
Team Composition: Up to 5 participants per team, including any combination of students and faculty
Registration Fee: $500 USD per team
Lottery Interest Window Opens: January 15th, 2026 at 10:00 am EST
Lottery Interest Window Closes: January 21, 2026 at 11:59 pm EST
Lottery Publishes: January 22, 2026 at 10:00 am EST
