Building cars, planes, or future mobility tech is already a full-time commitment. Paying for school on top of that is a lot. That’s where SAE International Scholarships come in.

Each year, SAE awards scholarships to around 50 undergraduate and graduate students pursuing engineering or other STEM degrees. These scholarships are designed for students who are putting in the work both in the classroom and on their teams and who are serious about building a future in engineering.

Backed by the SAE Foundation, these awards are more than just financial support. They are a signal that the industry sees your effort, your potential, and your commitment to engineering.

Applications are open now and must be submitted by February 28, 2026. That means all parts of your application and supporting materials need to be in by that date to be considered.
